Hello lovelies!
I thought I would continue sharing Japan with you guys.
Who knew a 10D9N trip would take so long to share? Haha.
So I'm back with my day 4 in Japan post!
I decided to spend my day 4 in Kyoto.
The very first stop on our itinerary is the most beautiful temple in Kyoto, Kiyomizu-Dera,
a Buddhist temple that is listed as one of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites.
a Buddhist temple that is listed as one of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites.
Finally we're here.
It was a bit crowded during our visit but its all worth it.
And this is why we travelled thousand miles to Kyoto, just for this beautiful view....
There were areas of the temple that were under reconstructions,
so this is the main hall, where most of the people were
gathered together to pray for health and strength.

All the sloped streets to Kiyomizu-Dera Temple are full of interesting shops and street food.
In case you didn't know, Kyoto is supposedly the matcha capital of Japan.
Despite how busy it is, its a must to grab a matcha ice-cream in Japan!
The view was breathtaking, I really enjoyed taking pictures here.

Alright let's head to Fushimi Inari-Taisha now!
Fushimi Inari-Taisha is said to be an important Shinto shrine of southern Kyoto.
It is famous for its thousand of verminilion torii gates, which straddle a network
of trails behind its main buildings. The trails lead into the wooded forest of the
sacred Mount Inari, which stands at 233 meters and belongs to the shrine grounds.

Street food are found along the path to the shrine.
Fresh takoyakis! Lost count of how many takoyakis I've eaten in Japan haha!
x
All these torii gates are donations from individuals and companies, the donator's
name and the date of donation are inscribed on the back of each gate.

ICHIRAN RAMEN DOTONBORI
Ichiran is one of the more popular ramen chains and you may have seen or heard about it already.
We decided to have our dinner here. We went to the Dotonbori branch which is open 24 hours.
Upon entering the restaurant, you will see an automatic vending machine where
you purchase your meal tickets from. The staff will hand you a piece of paper to
customise your ramen. Right after you're seated, wait a few minutes and
your ramen will be served!
Taking photo is optional, eat your ramen while its still hot!
I am certainly giving this ramen a two thumbs up!
You can see how much I enjoyed eating my ramen.
*slurps slurps*
Will definitely be coming back again.

That's all for today. Hope you enjoy and see you in my next post.
